Tour Details

Day 01: Arrival at Cochin

Upon your arrival at Cochin International Airport, our representative will receive and transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and proceed for a half day sightseeing tour. You'll be visiting various popular tourist spots, such as Chinese fishing nets, Vasco Da Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, and Bastion Bungalow. In the evening, return to the hotel for a traditional Kerala dinner and restful sleep.

Day 02: Cochin - Munnar

Early in the morning, have a scrumptious morning meal at the hotel, after which you'll be driven to Munnar. En-route, treat your eyes with lush greenery, scenic views, luxuriant mountains and low flying clouds. Upon reaching Munnar, check-in at the hotel. Later in the evening, you'll visit Raja Malai, the highest mountain peak (2695 meters above sea level) in Munnar, where you can spot the Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat. Return to the hotel, have dinner and retire for the night.

Day 03: Munnar

After having a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, you'll head for a day-long excursion to the nearby tourist destinations of Munnar. The trip will cover visits to magnificent tea plantations, Anamudi peak, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam, Mattupetty and Pallivasal. In the evening, return to the hotel and spend the night.

Day 04: Munnar - Periyar

A wholesome morning meal will be followed by a journey to Periyar, with a stopover at Idukki dam on the way. After you arrive, a check-in at the hotel will be done. Periyar is a renowned national park and wildlife sanctuary, sprawling over 777 sq km in the southern Western Ghats. This enthralling wildlife park is home to numerous nomadic tribes of wild elephants, deer, boar, Indian tiger and many exotic floras. In the evening, you'll be taken for a boat cruise on the serene Periyar Lake to watch the wild animals. Return to the hotel, enjoy tasty dinner and have a relaxing sleep.

Day 05: Periyar

Early morning, have a healthy breakfast at the hotel and leave for a boat cruise through the Periyar Lake, where you can spot several rare species of flora and fauna. Later in the afternoon, you'll visit the spice plantations of cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, coffee and tea. Return to the hotel, have dinner and call it a day.

Day 06: Periyar - Kumarakom

Next morning after breakfast, you'll proceed to Kumarakom, an enthralling backwater destination in Kerala. After reaching Kumarakom, you'll check-in at the pre-booked resort. Freshen up and leave for Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, home to various exotic and migratory birds. Later on, board the traditional houseboat and sail through to the serene Vembanand Lake, the largest fresh water lake in the state blessed with pictorial views. Sail through the charismatic backwaters of Kumarakom, savor on the traditional Kerala cuisine and spend the night under the stars onboard.

Day 07: Kumarakom (Houseboat Cruise)

Day seven will begin with a finger-licking breakfast onboard and cruising through the enchanting and tranquil backwaters of Kerala. Stay overnight in the houseboat.

Day 08: Kumarakom - Alleppey

While sailing through the backwaters, you'll reach Alleppey and disembark the houseboat. Alleppey is the most popular tourist and backwater destination of Kerala, known for its boat races, delightful experience of exquisite houseboats and coir products. After roaming around in Alleppey for a while, you'll check in at the resort. Freshen up and leave for discovering the colorful and ancient Kerala villages and backwaters. Return to the resort, have a luscious dinner and spend the night.

Day 09: Alleppey - Cochin

After an early morning breakfast at the resort, you'll be driven to Cochin. Upon reaching Cochin, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, explore the local market and shop for traditional goods and curios. In the evening, you'll be taken for a mesmerizing Kathakali dance performance. Return to the hotel, relish on a delectable dinner and spend a peaceful night.

Day 10: Cochin Departure

On the last day of your Kerala Wildlife tour, enjoy the healthy and tasty breakfast served at the hotel. Soon after, you'll be escorted to Cochin International Airport to board the flight for your onward travel.
