Day 01: Arrival at Bhubaneswar

At Bhubaneswar airport, you will be greeted by our representative and comfortably transported to the hotel. After check in you will be given some time to rest and later in the afternoon, sightseeing tour of the city will commence. This tour will cover various interesting sites like Lingaraja Temple, Mukateswara Temple, Rajarani Temple and Vaital Temple. These temples have grand architecture and closely related to Hindu faith and mythology. On return you will spend the night at the hotel in Bhubaneswar.

Day 02: Bhubaneswar - Ratnagiri - Bhubaneswar

The day will start with an early morning breakfast after which, the full day excursion to Ratnagiri will commence. During the tour you will get a chance to explore the roots of Buddhism in Orissa, which are present here in form of various remains and ruins of ancient Buddhist monasteries. In the hillocks of Ratnagiri, numerous unique Buddhist sculptures have been unearthed, which makes this site a treasure trove for all history buffs. The excursion with end in the late evening and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Bhubaneswar, to spend the night.

Day 03: Bhubaneswar - Baliguda

After a leisurely breakfast in the morning, you will be driven to Baliguda, a place known for its pristine and picturesque beaches. On arrival, you will check into the hotel and after a brief rest, visit the beautiful beaches, where you can enjoy the sun and the sand. You can swim in the refreshing waters or just relax on the shimmering shoreline. In the evening you will be dropped off at the hotel, for the overnight stay.

Day 04: Baliguda - Rayagada

In the morning you will be served a scrumptious meal at the hotel, after which you will be driven to Rayagada, via Belghar and Kothagargh. En route a shot stopover will be made at the Kauttiya Kondh Tribal villages, here you will get a chance to interact with the locals and watch the tribal culture of the region from close proximity. Later, once in Rayagada, you will check into the hotel and have rest of the day to yourself. You will be spending the night here.

Day 05: Rayagada -Taptapani - Chilika

The day will begin with an appetizing breakfast after which your journey towards the Chilika Bird Sanctuary will commence. En route a brief stopover will be made at the Taptapani, which is quite famous for its hot water springs. These are known for their mineral rich curative properties. Later you will continue the journey and on reaching the destination, you will check into a hotel and then, go for the tour of the sanctuary, which is situated around Chilka Lake, largest inland lagoon made up of saltwater in all of South Asia. This sanctuary provides refugee to a large number of local as well as migratory birds. Thus, is considered a birdwatcher’s paradise. Thereafter you will spend sometime at the serene Chilika beach. The night will be spent at the hotel in Chilika.

Day 06: Chilika - Puri

The activities of the day will begin with a drive to Puri. On arrival you will check in at the hotel there and after a brief rest, visit the city’s famous Puri Beach and Swargadwar Beach. Puri Beach is a wonderful amalgamation of golden sands, soothing surf and spiritual environs. It has long and broad shoreline prefect for sunbathing, whereas Swargadwar Beach, has its own its own charm and to take a dip here is considered auspicious as per the Hindu religion, it is also a great place to shop. Later, in evening you will be dropped at the hotel, for overnight stay.

Day 07: Puri - Konark - Puri

The day will begin with the visit to the sacred and world famous Jagannath Temple. This is one of the holiest of Hindu temples and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is believed that this temple was built in the 12th century. It is a magnificent specimen of Kalinga architecture. Thereafter, an excursion to Konark will commence. In Konark, you will visit the exquisite Sun Temple, which is known for its fantastic architecture and stone carvings. The temple has been designed in the shape of a huge chariot, supported by 24 wheels. Later spend sometime at the Konark beach, before returning to Puri, where you will spend the night.

Day 08: Puri - Bhubaneswar

Today, you will be free to spend the first half of the day at leisure. In afternoon you will be driven to Bhubaneswar airport, so that you can continue your onward journey.
